Splendid Trip Towards Babusar Top

Babusar Pass is a mountain at the north 160km long from Kaghan Valley 14000 feet above from level of the sea. This way straight connected with Chilas on the highway of Karakoram. Babusar Pass is the highest point of the valley which connects Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.
History Of Babusar
This place was known as Babur Top, The Mughal emperor Babur use this Pass early in the 16th century. It’s commonly use nowadays as Babusar Top.
The right time to travel to Babusar Pass?
The right time starts in June and the middle of September, the road is open for the Babusar Top, and the road is closed from the start of November to February due to snowfall, Moreover, travel is restricted during the monsoon and winter season. The area of Kaghan is accessible by the roads of Islamabad.
Important Things to know before you travel to Babusar
- Please make sure your car is in good condition and fully maintained. And brakes of your car are in good condition.
- 8 hours travel from Islamabad to Naran and 2 to 3 from Naran
- Start your journey in the morning is preferable. And you should leave Babusar at 5 pm.
- People with breathing issues should not hike this mountain. Because the oxygen is low on the mountain.
- Take some snacks before you go.
- Must take some warm clothes. Don’t forget to take a camera.
- At the mountain there are no restrooms or fuel pumps.
- In monsoon, there is a risk to travel because roads are slippery due to rain.
A Bit From My Opinion About Babusar Top
I visited Babusar Pass last year along with my friends. It was an amazing tour. We headed our tour from Lahore and stayed in a Naran hotel. Our aim is to visit Babusar Pass. It is 70 to 73 km a three hours drive from Naran. So at next day in the morning, we departed from Naran at 8: am.
Kunhaar River Flowing Along Naran
Kunhaar River flows along the road of Kaghan valley connected to straight Naran valley. The weather was very pleasant with pure air and oxygen. For a bit of time, we stayed at the side of the river and took pictures, and resumed our delightful journey. The road is well-construct for all kinds of vehicles. On the way, there were some water waterfalls where people were enjoying. We also stopped there. The road is fully carpeted, wide, and well-constructed, useable for all kinds of vehicles. On the way, there were so many small waterfalls where people were gathered and enjoying in cold water. We also stopped there for a while.
Lulusar Lake On The Way To Babusar
Lulusar Lake is 50 km away from Naran situated on the way to Babusar Top. Which is surround by mountains. We stop at this Lake to take pictures and spend quality time. Moreover, it seems like, the water of this Lake is dancing. We enjoyed the beauty of nature at this Lake. We felt that this place was really out of the world with no dust and a clear atmosphere. It’s a completely pure environment. This place was calm and peaceful in the midst of mountains and scenery. After enjoying the lap of nature! We resumed our journey to Babusar. After a very adventurer drive, we reached Babusar Top our main destination. We reached there at 11 am. It felt a cold place covered with a bit of snow. At the high-level altitude, the weather seemed like a glorious dream. There are no rooms for living. We hiked to the top of the Babusar Mountain.
